Full Time Faculty Position as Clinician Educator
Applications are invited for a full time faculty position in the Department of Anesthesia.
The successful candidate must hold an MD with specialty training in anesthesia, and will have experience teaching undergraduate medical students, postgraduate residents in anesthesia, as well as clinical fellows and allied health professionals. The successful candidate must be licensed (or eligible for license) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), and should be certified - or eligible for certification - by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).
The role of Clinician Educator involves, but is not limited to, the supervision and teaching of Undergraduate MD Students, the supervision and teaching of Anesthesia Residents, the presentation of Rounds and Residency Program Core Teaching Seminars, participation in Program Orals, and participation in Continuing Medical Education. Significant engagement in educational research and innovation is expected.
Academic rank will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
